Breakfast offerings were diverse, featuring both hot and cold choices, and the old-school lounge provided a cozy retreat. However, noise from the neighboring room was disruptive, requiring several calls to the front desk for resolution, and the property exhibited some wear common in older establishments.

We spent 4 fantastic nights in a beautiful Junior Suite, and we absolutely loved the extensive breakfast spread and relaxing massage options available. Just a heads up, the instant coffee in the room could use an upgrade. a nice Nespresso machine would’ve been perfect! If you want a cozy stay with plenty of charm, it’s definitely worth considering. 😊

My stay was utterly disappointing. The air conditioning in my room was abysmal, leaving me sweating through the nights. Despite my complaints, the staff seemed indifferent to my distress, and they offered no solutions.

Just a decent option for a holiday in Salzburg with high value for money. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace for breakfast each morning. Consider getting the Salzburg card for transport and attractions.

Couples looking for a charming base

The hotel is really special and represents an old structure with all its history and chic. We enjoyed a very talented piano player every night in the lounge, making the atmosphere feel luxurious.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but I’d say the experience was worth it.
